Abstract (EN)

From the past to the present, the concept of leadership has come to an important point in terms of businesses. Businesses can reach the goals and objectives of the organization more quickly with their leader managers and have an efficient process. In terms of business, the benefits that the leader has added to the organizational processes are many. The leader influences his followers and motivates them to reach the goals and objectives of the organization. It provides an advantage to the business by the fact that the employees follow their leaders, care about their movements and behaviors, and accordingly do the activities they have done in a motivated way. Leaders are at an important point for businesses to achieve their goals and objectives. In this study, the concepts of leadership and organizational commitment are examined in terms of literature, and the importance of leadership in terms of businesses is emphasized. In this context, the effect of transformative leadership style on organizational commitment was examined by linear regression method and hypothesis tests were carried out regarding the demographic characteristics of the participants. As a result of the Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis hypothesis tests, which are non-parametric methods performed in the study, it was observed that there were differences between the groups and Post-Hoc analyzes were carried out to determine between which groups these differences were. At the end of the study, it was concluded that transformative leadership directly affects organizational commitment and hypothesis tests revealing the differences between groups were interpreted.
