Comparison of performances of exterior cladding materials

This study aimed to determine the physical and mechanical properties of exterior sheathing materials. Structures in the country to obtain the identification of energy until 2017, thermal insulation is necessary. The performance of insulation materials used is very important for the safety of life and material. In the study, the different thicknesses of plaster will be applied on EPS, XPS and rockwool materials that mounted on the surface of brick walls. Then, thermal conductivity on the wall, adhesion of plaster with insulation material, flexural, compressive strength and water absorption values of cladding materials will be determined. As a result, to ensure the safety of life and property as well as the effective use of coating materials will be provided in buildings for insulation.
