Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, the requirement for energy is increasing because of the overpopulation, rapid technological developments, economic growth and the globalization. The solar energy which is one of the alternative energy sources can be utilized as a response to incresing consumer demand. In this study, it is explored to answer the question of what is required to supply the main campus` external illumination load with the solar energy instead of the usual national network as a project. The installed capacity for this load has been measured and computed. In the project, solar cells fed the system, connected to the network with the on-grid inverter. In the project, voltage drop calculations have been done, and the allocation project has been drawn. Afterwards, the number of solar panel and the inverter power requirements have been calculated. Meanwhile, a suitable land patch on the campus has been selected and the whole project is plotted on a blueprint paper. After the cost analysis of all the required equipments has been made, how much time is needed to make the project feasible has been calculated.
