Abstract (EN)
Measurements were implemented to students studying at secondary schools in Afyonkarahisar in the 2017-2018 academic year. 104 secondary school students who do sports regularly(age average 13,009± 0,908 years,height average 158,567 ± 10,639 cm,weight average 45,884 ± 10,278 kg) and 104 secondary school students who do not do sports regularly(age average. 13,086 ± 0,801 years, height average 156,163 ± 11,193 cm, weight average 46,750 ± 11,341 kg. )have participated in this study voluntarily. We have completed our study with 208 students in total. In order to determine the motoric features of the students;30 m sprint, Yo-Yo 1,30 sec.pushup,30 sec. sit-up,vertical stretch,standing long jump,strength of legs,strength of claw and flexibility tests have been practiced. To determine the academical success of the students,the year-end success grade of the students in the2017-2018 academical year have been used.In the arrangement of the datas and and forming the diagrams, MS Excel spreadshet package software and in statistical analyzis,SPSS 22 Statistics packaged software have been used. As a statistical method, α=0.05 significance level Independent-Simples t-test has been put into practice so as to reveal the differences in the study. As a result,in the whole of the measurement values of the motoric tests which have been practiced on the secondary school students doing sports regularly and secondary school students doing sports not regularly were (p<0.05) in favour of students doing sports,and the meausrement value of academical success were (p<0.05) in favour of students doing sports regularly.
