Abstract (EN)

Industry sector is the key domain for economical growth in terms of the connection with other sector including value added and employment. This study aims to be able to perform the industrial sector competitive analysis. In addition to that, the present industry structure in specific area is supported NUTs 2 regions with this study by using principal component analysis. Moreover, the problems have been examined, the suggestions have been put forward and the differences between regions have been compared.The growth and the development rate of Turkey's regions had been unbalanced and uneven. By using the principal component analysis the result of this study show that there has been significant development variations in the industrial development ranking. In this case, in the light of acquired data, the country's growth rate can be in better position with removal of problems which prevent the development of industry sector.
