Abstract (EN)
This study analyzes Çetin Altan's plays which are "Çemberler, Tahterevalli, Dilekçe, Beybaba, Mor Defter, Yedinci Köpek, Suclular, Islıkçı, Telefon Kimin İçin Çalıyor" by making most of the relationship between theatre and society. The problems caused by the changes of social, political, economical and cultural life in Turkey after 1950s seem to be reflected on the literary texts. In the light of this information, these plays are reflected to include significant data about the social life in terms of literature sociology Key Words: Çetin Altan, theatre, society, drama, modernism
