The effect of EFL teachers' mindfulness in teaching on their ecological agency

This study, conducted using the relational screening model, aims to investigate whether the mindful awareness of teachers who teach English as a foreign language has an effect on their ecological agency in teaching. Additionally, the study seeks to explore the levels of mindful awareness and ecological agency among these teachers. The research also aims to determine if the mindful awareness and ecological agency of English as a foreign language teachers vary according to their age, gender, English graduation fields, education levels, and professional experience. A total of 300 teachers, working in private and public institutions at the primary, secondary, and high school levels, will be selected as participants through convenience sampling. Data will be collected using a personal information form prepared by the researcher, the "Mindful Awareness in Teaching Scale" developed by Frank, Jennings, and Greenberg (2016), and the "Teacher Ecological Agency Scale" developed by Ghamoushi, Zenouzagh, and Hashamdar (2022). The collected data will be analyzed using SPSS 26.0.
