Abstract (EN)

Today, the needs of societies are mostly provided by technology and the new generation technology has entered every part of our lives. New generation technology has created a high level of energy requirement. Many energy sources have started to be depleted rapidly and today's society has turned to search for renewable energy sources. The sun is the basis of all energy sources, and many solar energy systems especially photovoltaic panels have been developed. Photovoltaic panels are the system that converts light from the sun into direct electrical energy. In the photovoltaic panel system, there is a high amount of energy losses during the conversion of the incoming light to electricity. In this study, the negative effect of temperature on photovoltaic panels was investigated and in order to eliminate this effect, behind the panel was applied with water cooling method. Power comparison is carried out between normal solar panel and water cooled solar panel. It was shown that the output power in the water-cooled system is higher than the normal panel. Key word : Photovoltaics, Cell Efficiency, Solar system, Cell temperature
