Abstract (EN)

This research, which aims to determine the relationship between critical reading perception of selfeticity and writing habits of Faculty of education students, is a research in the general screening model based on quantitative data and in the relational screening model. Within the framework of the fictional theoretical model of the research, one main hypothesis and six sub-hypotheses are formed within the framework of the main hypothesis. Research and study universe Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Faculty of Education Science, Social Studies, classroom and Turkish teaching 3. The grade students were identified as (α=269). These students were selected in the study universe by using stratified sampling and simple random sampling method by taking into account α=0.05 table sample size ± 0.05 sample error p=0,5 and q=0,5 confidence interval. "Critical reading selfeterity perception scale" and "writing habit scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. After validating factor analysis and reliability analysis of these scales, they were implemented. Normality tests were performed on the application data and statistical calculations requiring normal distribution were applied. Descriptive and inferential statistics were performed to find answers to the main hypothesis and six sub-hypotheses. A high level and statistically significant relationship was found between critical reading and writing habit. It has been concluded that critical reading has a significant impact on writing and the lower dimensions of writing habit. The findings were interpreted in detail by conducting difference tests based on demographic variables. Keywords: Critical Reading, Writing Habit, Faculty of Education
