Applications of inclusion techniques in glass art

As glass production processes have developed, the use of inclusion techniques, which have shown advancements in terms of accessibility and compatibility with glass has increased in contemporary glass art. Within the scope of this thesis; the use of inclusion in glass art from past to present has been researched, and experiments have been conducted on different materials and techniques that can be used in inclusion techniques on glass works. In the first part of the research, which consists of a total of four sections, the definition and history of inclusion is provided. The second section discusses the use of inclusion in glass art, highlighting the diversity and transformation in their areas of use throughout the history of glass art. The third section focuses on artists who use inclusion, examining how materials are approached by these artists.
