Abstract (EN)

As the result of the investment and studies made by the banking sector, the developments in usage of the internet in the world and also our country have been adapted quickly. Banking has also taken place in e-commercial applications and started to offerits service through the internet apart from branchoffices. In today's world, the banking sector, which is one of the first sectors that come to people's mind when electronics and technology are mentioned, improves the electronic banking services offered through digital channels day by day and continues to increase the variety of these services. Under the light of these developments, it is essential to determine and limit the risks which might have been faced by banks providing "electronic banking services" and those performing electronic banking transactions, in accordance with the interests of parties. The aim of this study is to examine the responsibilities of the bank and customer regarding the subjects: confidentiality of information of customer and bank in electronic banking transactions provided by the banking sector and transaction security made through electronic banking channels.
