Abstract (EN)
Electronic warehouse receipt states an electronic record which is generated by licensed warehouses for the delivered agricultural products. The purpose of EWR are, to prevent farmer to sell his goods with an unsatisfying price in the harvest season due to excess supply, to trade goods with a competitive price in the local commodity exchanges and to spread the supply all year to reduce the volatility in the related goods' prices. In this study, the effect of EWR prices on both the local commodity Exchange prices and farmer to merchant deal prices are analyzed.
