Abstract (EN)

The term, Industry 4.0, which emerged in Germany with the 2011 Hannover Fair has created a new production method using advanced technology and automation systems. Thus, a new industrial revolution has begun that has had an impact all over the world. As in former industrial revolutions, the technological developments experienced with this revolution, called Industry 4.0, have created breakthrough changes not only in the production sector, but also in many service industries. It has created Logistics 4.0 as a reflection of logistics services. In Logistics 4.0, which is called Smart or Digital Logistics; There are many new technological applications, including the stuff,internet and cyber-physical system technologies, where human-induced errors are minimized through artificial intelligence. With these new practices, a new supply chain structure has emerged with increased transparency and traceability between supply chain processes. With the study, logistics, warehousing, Industry 4.0 process and its treatment and the transformation process to Logistics 4.0 are explained. In order to keep ahead of their competitors in the competitive environment of today's market conditions and to maintain their presence in the global market, logistics companies need to closely follow and implement these technological developments, called Logistics 4.0. Information about the level of implementation of Logistics 4.0 and awareness of Logistics 4.0 was collected through a survey conducted on the employees of the leading logistics companies in the Istanbul region, necessary analyzes were made and reported.
