Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, an evaluation was made on various scenarios in order to harvest piezoelectric energy from vibration energy via an electric motor with an energy harvesting unit and to increase energy production in harvesting. Finite element and modal analysis method was applied to find the natural frequency through the Ansys Workbench package program. First of all, studies have been carried out to bring the natural operating frequency as close as possible to the frequency of the motor with 50 Hz operating frequency used in the experimental environment, even to match it, by using the modal analysis and finite element method in the program content in an unweighted way with the Piezo transducer. Then, magnets with a weight of 0.17 g, a diameter of 4 mm, a density of 7000 kg/m³ and a Poisson ratio of 0.24 were placed on the piezo transducer with different numbers and layouts on the brass part of the transducer. In this way, 12 pieces were tried at 60° angles. All scenarios were modeled separately in Ansys program, and modal analysis and finite element analysis of each were performed separately. Weighted and unweighted piezo transducer scenarios are simulated in 6 different modes in ansys program. In the program solution, the natural frequency values at which each scenario will achieve the highest electrical energy output were found and the elastic tension results in the material were compared within these frequency values.
