Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to illustrate the impact of functional training on anaerobic power among male basketball players. The study (24) where 24 participants took part was performed during the weekend and the routine training was given to the control groups. First and test body weight at week, MYO test Anaerobic power, wattbike ergocycle, 6 to 30 seconds anaerobic power angle has been determined. A classical training program and a technical training program were applied. The 6 sn-30 sn anaerobic power values from wattbike ergometer bycyle and body weight were obtained during the first and last weeks within this 10 weeks study. In addition, squat (sitting in a crouching position and rising again), bound and chest press movement values were recorded via MYO test. SPSS 17 is used for data analysis. Repeated measures ANOVA is used to assess the time, group interaction effect and simple effect. The significance level was evaluated as p<0.05. When simple effect values was examined in order to determine the efficacy of participants' training program, the statistically significant difference was found in the values absolute power of chest press (watt), the absolute maximum power of chest press (watt), the speed of chest press (cm/sec), the vertical height of squat sıçrama (cm), the absolute power of squat sıçrama (sitting in a crouching position and rising again)(watt), the speed of squat sıçrama (cm/sec), 6 seconds watt cycle anaerobic relative power (watt/kg) and 6 seconds watt cycle anaerobic absolute power (watt) in favor of experiment group (p<0.05).
