Abstract (EN)

Divan of Seyyid Alî Nasûhî Bey, which is our study topic, is a work which is perhaps one of last works that host the poetry tradition of our classical literature and it is unknown until today despite the fact that it is written up at a time when Turkish Literature entered the process of renovation along with the Tanzimat Period. The main purpose of this work is to introduce one of the last examples of the last tradition of Divan literature which constitutes the infrastructure of Turkish literature based on Ali Nasûhî Bey's personality, his art and the unrecognized divan. We obtained our thesis from the 574th section which is registered in the catalog of Sermet Çifter Library (YKY) Manuscripts. We created our work in two parts, except the entrance section. In the introduction, we gave a general overview of the work. We talked about the significance of the work in terms of writing period and literature. In the first chapter, we tried to give the necessary information about Ali Nasûhî Bey's life, Divan and literary personality. Since there is not much information about him, we tried to give more information about the poet by going out of the works.Beside this, we have studied the manuscript in terms of form, language, style and content. We tried to describe the poets who the poet influenced and was influenced and the general literature tradition in the period. In the second chapter, we gave the transcript of the work in text form. In the conclusion section, we tried to emphasize the importance of the work and its aspects that are different from the tradition of Classical Turkish Literature. At the end of our thesis, we ended our work by putting the facsimile in order to be understood better.
