Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the perception of job insecurity and organizational cynicism. The study was conducted with the participation of English teachers working at foreign language courses in the province of Eskişehir. The adequacy of the sample size was calculated based on the number of scale items. Within the scope of the convenience sampling method, 145 individuals were reached, and analyses were carried out accordingly. The data were collected through a questionnaire form, which consisted of questions related to demographic characteristics, as well as the Organizational Cynicism Scale and the Job Insecurity Scale. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using SPSS 23 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The results revealed a statistically significant and positive relationship between English teachers' perceptions of job insecurity and organizational cynicism in foreign language courses. Additionally, the study found that married individuals had lower perceptions of job insecurity and exhibited less cynical attitudes.
