Abstract (EN)

Various materials and methods are used in the fabrication of temporary restorations. The selection of materials is typically based on how long the patient will require the temporary restoration. Depending on the healing process and the type of preparation or implant-supported recovery, healing materials and methods may vary. While traditional techniques or CAD/CAM systems are widely used in clinics, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is the material of choice. In recent years, the introduction of 3D printers and resins has offered clinicians new perspectives. Until permanent restorations are completed, fixed temporary restorations play a critical role in function, phonation, aesthetics, and the health of the pulp and periodontium. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of different polishing techniques on the surface roughness of fixed temporary restoration resins produced by 3D printers. This field has seen increasing use. Keywords: CAD/CAM, 3D Printers, Polishing,
