Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the effects of different nitrogen doses on the seed yield and yield components of Turay and Tarsan 1018 sunflower varieties. The study was conducted at randomized complete block with split plot design with four replication under Iğdır plain irrigated conditions in 2013. In this study, Turay and Tarsan 1018 sunflower varieties were used as the material. Two varieties (Turay and Tarsan 1018) and four nitrogen doses (0, 10, 15, 20 kg/da) were applied. Observed characteristics were plant height, diameter of head, seed yield per plant, 1000 seed weight, harvest index, seed yield, crude oil ratio, crude oil yield and crude protein ratio. According to the results, varieties were found to have significant effects on features except 1000 seed weight and crude protein ratio. Nitrogen doses were found to have significant effects on features, except oil ratio. In the trial, seed yields varied between 298.37 – 423.50 kg/da. The highest seed and oil yield 423.50 (seed), 214.67 (oil) kg/da were obtained from combination of Turay variety and 15 kg/da nitrogen dose.
