Abstract (EN)
Stainless steels and superalloy materials are commonly used in aircraft engines. Parts produced with these aerospace materials are often joined using brazing and welding methods due to the difficulties of monolithic production. In this study, AISI 321 austenitic stainless steel was brazed with nickel based super alloys Inconel 718 and Hastelloy X materials and Inconel 718 and Hastelloy X super alloys with nickel based filler metals AMS 4777 and AMS 4782 in vacuum environment. Microstructure characterization of brazed joints; It was performed by optical microscope, stereo microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM). In this study, it was determined that different aviation materials brazed using nickel-based filler metals can be brazed with each other and the shear and tensile stress data required for the design of aviation engines were obtained. The effects of the process parameters applied before, during and after the brazing process on the braze microstructure of these aerospace materials and the relationship between the mechanical properties and microstructure have been studied
