Abstract (EN)
Fatma GÜREL is one of the woman authors who has been writting from the Republic period since 1960s. She is a story and novel author. She was born in January 20th, 1946 in Edremit/Balıkesir and she uses Fatma Bölek Gürel as a sing in her works. Her literature works has taken part in Edremit, Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet newspaper, and Varlık, Türk Dili, Gösteri, Kıyı, Yazko Edebiyat, Barış Invivo, İnsancıl magazines since 1960. She starts her letterure life writing stories. Fatma Gürel analyses the city she lives in her stories and novels by world. Thanks to this, she presents a new structure. She reinterprets the soul of a city, its people, geography and history, traditions as a good observer. She tries to explain the period she deals with in her own reality peevishly. She discourses modernly on important subjects such as downtrodden people, conflicts between right and wrong, fights, loves, education, self-realization and being open to innovation and she reveals her works realistically. By analysizing path test and structure of Fatma Gürel's stories and novel, it will be discussed from the view of the identity of work, viewpoint and narrater, wording, plot, time, place and cast. And, it will be handled the theme, the prominent conflict factors of story and novels, the quality of paths in the thematic analysis of works. Key word: Fatma Gürel, Novel, Story, Structure, Theme.
