Abstract (EN)
Innovative ideas are developed through research and development into commercial products or services. Research and development activities give companies a significant advantage in designing, developing and marketing new products. Companies see research and development as crucial for sustainability and competitive advantage. R&D is now an indispensable concept for companies. Thus, research and development is included in strategic planning. Companies can compete in the market through research and development activities. Research and development reduces costs and increases profits, gives companies the opportunity to develop better products and services than their competitors, and is important because the return is long-term rather than immediate. Continuous improvement and innovation are key components of research and development, and this is how success is achieved. Technopolises are home to companies engaged in R&D activities. The main purpose of the companies located here is to provide production, sales and technological advantages as a result of product development, software and design activities through rights, and competitive advantage in domestic and foreign markets by using the tax incentives of the region. This study will provide guidance on understanding R&D activities, support programs of institutions that provide incentives to companies within the scope of R&D activities, laws numbered 5746/4691 enacted by the state, explaining the accounting and tax aspects of providing R&D and technological activity incentives within the framework of the Revenue Administration's Special Circulars, determining the basic logic of accounting transactions and evaluating other R&D incentives.
