Abstract (EN)

Due to their chemical and physical properties of phthalocyanines have been used in many different areas such as in gas sensors, solar cells, in catalytic reactions and photodynamic cancer therapy. The dendrimers having three dimention are very important macromolecules and they are used in different tecnological areas. Therefore, the preparation and characterization of dendritic phthalocyanines containing electron withdrawing substituent would be interesting. In the present work, I studied two diferent electron witdrawing substituents on dendritic phthalocyanines. The compounds 1 and 2 were prepared by heating of hydroquinone and 3-(triflouromethyl) chloro benzene or 3,5-bis(triflouromethyl) chloro benzene in DMSO at the presence of K2CO3. The dendritic phthalonitriles 3 and 4 were prepared by the reactions 1 or 2 with 4-nitrophthalonitrile in DMF at RT in the presence of K2CO3. Dendritic ruthenium phthalocyanine 5 and 6 were obtained by the tetramerization of compound 3 or 4 with [RuCl2(DMSO)4] in DMF at 180 oC in the presence of DBU. The prepared compounds were characterized by 1H-NMR, UV-VIS and IR spectroscopies. Key Words: Phthalocyanines, Flor Substitueted Phthalocyanines, Dendritic Phthalocyanines, Ruthenium.
