Abstract (EN)
Today, there is an intense demand for solar energy systems, known as photovoltaic (PV). Studies in areas such as improving efficiency in PV systems and reducing production costs are increasing day by day. With the advancing technology, the development of modern devices and with the help of thin films used in PV systems are produced, and studies in areas such as their crystal structures, electrical properties, optical properties and their efficiency are increasing. Within the scope of this study, ZnO nanorods are produced by hybrid thin-film production techniques of films produced as thin films. It has been obtained by using "Sol-gel magnetic spin coating method" and "Chemical bath storage technique" as an alternative to production techniques with complex and expensive technology as a production technique. In the study, firstly, ZnO core layers were produced on glass substrate by sol-gel magnetic spin coating method. ZnO thin film was produced on the prepared ZnO core layer by using chemical bath storage method. As a result of hybrid production technique, ZnO nanorod structures were formed. The physical properties of ZnO thin films and nanorods were investigated using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. As a result of the investigations, it was concluded that the nanorods formed a single crystal structure in XRD and SEM analyzes and the orientations were in the same direction. With the UV-Vis Spectrophotometer measurements, the forbidden energy range was found to be 3.33 eV. Nanorod production was produced in an economical and simple way with ZnO nanorod hybrid production technique.
