Abstract (EN)

Chapter one mentions general information about advantages of current-mode signalprocessing and gives circuit simulation parameters.Chapter two presents a novel current differencer and a new current differencingbuffered amplifier (CDBA) circuit which is based on this current differencer. Circuitschematics and performance results are given. Also, comparison of present study withprevious designs in literature is given.Chapter three introduces a cascadable current-mode (CM) multifunction biquadraticfilter. The proposed circuit realizes all five different filter transfer functions employingonly two CDBAs, while previously reported CM multifunction filters require more CDBAsand more passive component count for the same number of filter transfer functionrealizations. Examples for different filter transfer functions are given along with the resultsof circuit simulations.CDBA-based synthetic floating inductance circuits with electronic tuningproperties are introduced in chapter four. Both configurations implement a groundedcapacitor, and they are fully integrable, providing the advantages of electronic tuning. Moreover, by the virtue of their impedance scaling characteristics, they offer theflexibility of representing large valued linearly tunable resistors by small modificationin both circuits.
