Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the semiclassical approximation which is used to find the thermodynamic properties of boson gases is generalized such that it includes also the trapping potentials which are created by using dimple potentials in addition to magnetic traps. Developing a mathematical model of this trapping potentials, the thermodynamical quantities of bosons in such traps are calculated. It is shown that the critical temperature which indicates the transition to condensation increases when the dimple potentials are added to magnetic traps. KeyWords Boson Gas, Dimple Potential, Trapping Potential, Bose-Einstein Condensation, Critical Temperature, Specific Heat
