Abstract (EN)

Progressions in the field of technology result in the variation of needs and demands in humans' lives day by day. Today, a consumer, as an individual, can reach the product that s/he wants without much effort. The process of purchasing a product has become a lot easier and quicker by means of online stores. In addition to the services which are provided by physical stores, consumers can order products from whichever country s/he wants and whenever s/he wants. The role of the internet which brings in new concepts to the shopping channel cannot be ignored. This study was conducted with totally 122 instructors who are teaching at five universities in the region of Çukurova. It was aimed by this research to reveal the thoughts and attitudes of the instructors who purchased predetermined products from online stores rather than the traditional stores towards the factors affecting their purchasing processes. In this study which was designed as a descriptive research, frequency distribution, arithmetical average and reliability analysis were used for data analysis.
