Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Purpose: The aim of this study to compare the physical and physiological parameters of young soccer players and to evaluate whether they are different in terms of their characteristics and to provide training programs. Material and Method: 23 football players who played in U16-U17 age group of TFF 2nd League team voluntary were participated in this study. Body fat percentage and Body Mass Index were measured for anthropometric characteristics. Yo-Yo IRT1, CMJ, Rast and 10-30 Meter Speed Tests were applied for physiologic parameters. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in the VO₂max values of the participants defense (53.59 ± 2.01 ml / kg / min) and forward (50.37 ± 2.58 ml / kg / min) players (p=0.03). Significant differences were found between the midfield (297.59 ± 47.01 W) and wing players (240.2 ± 27.63 W) with respect to minimum power values (p = 0.045). As a result of the 30-meter sprint test, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference between defense (4.28 ± 0.15 sec) and midfield players (4.15 ± 0.12 sec) (p = 0.025). No significant difference was found among the other parameters (p>0,05). Conclusion: The results of our research are considered as a reference value in the U16-U17 age categories. It is recommended to carry out researches with high numbers of participants. Key Words: Soccer, positions, RAST, VO₂Max
