Abstract (EN)
In this paper, it is aimed to study the psyhological aspects of Parkinson's Disease that has not been studied extensively in the psychoanalytic literatüre and wich appears as the neurological loss of dopamine cells in the brain leading to loss of movement. In this study, the psychic functioning of 13 young-onset Parkinson's patients were analyzed using the Rorschach and TAT tests in object loss problematic and narcissistic axis. Parkinson's disease (PD) is a disease that causes movement disorders in the body with the damage or loss of dopamine-producing cells in the brain stem. How this damage to the brain stem occurs, why it happens in some people and why it is not in some people has not yet been determined. Parkinson's disease is a disease that affects one hundred to two hundred people out of every hundred thousand people over the age of 40. This disease, whose mean age at diagnosis is 70, is called early-onset/young Parkinson's disease if it occurs at earlier ages. Physical vulnerability related to movement disorder and narcissistic vulnerability were evaluated together. In this study, it was found that Young-onset Parkinson's patients have a narcissistic fragility of identity, and as a result, they use narcissistic defenses and have anxiety about object loss.
