Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between person-organization fit and career planning regarding title gender, age, marital status, education background, work experience, way of acceptance to the institution and the level of foreign language, for the experts working at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In the research, data is collected via survey from 176 people who work as Experts, Physical Education Experts, Athletics Training Experts and Sports Services Assistant Specialists either in Ankara the Ministry and in Youth Services and Sports Provincial Directorate. In the research "Person-organization Fit Scale" developed by Netmeyer, Boles, MacKee ve MacMurrian (1997) and "Career Planning Scale" by Sahin (2007) are used as measurement tools. The data collected from the research is analysed by SPSS 25.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows. In the evaluation of data, defining statistical methods such as numbers, percentage, avarage and standart deviation are used. T-test is used between two groups and singular variant analysis is used for groups which are more than two. To find the group which shows the difference among the avarage points, Bonferroni double check method is used. In addition, the relationship between the variants is tested by correlation analysis. As a result of the research there has been found a positive correlation between person-organization fit and career planing for those who work as experts. Besides, by the analysis results it is seen that, person –organization fit and career planing have some differences regarding the variants of title, year of experience, foreign language exams and face to face interviews. For the variants of age, department of graduation , work experience, level of income and level of foreign language, it is seen that they have difference concerning the dependent variant of person-organization fit. However, for the career planing there is no meaninful statistical difference between the variants. Key Words: Person-Organization Fit, Career Planning, Expert Staff
