Abstract (EN)

This study evaluates the levels of nomophobia, internet addiction, and physical activity among coaches working at the Çorum Directorate of Youth and Sports. Conducted with 97 coaches, the analyses have shown that job satisfaction significantly influences levels of nomophobia. Coaches satisfied with their work environment exhibit lower nomophobia scores, whereas those who are dissatisfied show higher scores. Particularly, the inability to access information and the reluctance to disconnect sub-dimensions were significantly affected by demographic variables such as income level and Body Mass Index (BMI). The results demonstrate significant differences in nomophobia levels between normal and overweight individuals, as well as across different income groups. Regarding internet addiction, an increase in daily phone usage was observed to elevate addiction scores. Other variables such as education level, foreign language knowledge, and length of service did not show a significant impact on either nomophobia or internet addiction.
