Abstract (EN)
XIV SUMMARY In this study, first, some approximate methods, which have been used for structural analysis, are introduced. Then Generalized Differential Quadrature Method is applied to the deflection of beams, buckling behavior and free vibration analysis. Results are obtained to various boundary and loading conditions and are compared with existing exact numerical solutions by numerical analysis and/or other methods as a Rayleigh and Finite Element. The applications of Generalized Differential Quadrature Method to this kind of problems is seen to lead to accurate results with relatively computational time and effort.
