Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY Examinations the use of Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS in Geodetic Applications Today, it is very important to implement mapping projects fast and accurately. One of the surveying methods developed to overcome this challenge is Real-Time Kinematic GPS (RTK GPS). Staking out that can not be performed by static and kinematic GPS surveying methods can be done easily with RTK GPS. Besides, point positioning can be fulfilled faster than traditional terrestrial methods. In this thesis, various tests have been done with RTK GPS to evaluate the method with respect to its speed, cost and accuracy. Thus, its use in cadastral works, land readjustment projects and mapping projects is analyzed. And it's aimed at introducing this method which has not been widely used yet in most of the areas related to mapping applications in Turkey. In result, it's understood that RTK GPS method can be used at staking out and mapping process in geodetic applications. Key Words: GPS, Real-Time Kinematic GPS, Stake-out, Mapping Applications. VII
