Traces of the Turkish water cult in Giresun

This study aims to put forward the remains in folk beliefs and Giresun Culture, historical experience of incidented changes and living heritage of water cult which has an important place in Turskish Mythology. Our study consists introduction and three parts. There are content and limits of the topic, importance and purpose of research and followed method points in introduction part. In the first part; World Mythology and water feature in Celestial Religions have been worked with various ways. In the third and the last part; remains of Turkish Water Cult in Anatolia and especially between Giresun Çepnis have been put forward in the context of culture history. In the conclusion part of our study; the obtained findings have been commented with the main lines.
