Abstract (EN)
Today, the rapid development of technology has led the development of new applications in the field of education as in many other fields. In many institutions including universities, distance education have begun to replace traditional education methods. Due to its geographic location, Turkey is one of countries where disasters occur frequently. Therefore, it has become necessary to conduct a study on distance education on disaster and emergency issues in our country. The thesis intended to make volunteers prepared for disaster and emergency situations by organizing trainings by volunteer educators. Thanks to this mixed distance education model, in everywhere where there is internet by reaching via computer, tablet or laptop, creating a resistant society for disaster and emergency situation will be provided.
