The description of the interpretation of the educators in the conservatory who have partially sighted students about the education process

In this study, by receiving the opinions of the educators in Turkey that have partially-sighted students about the professional music education process, the difficulties they have faced are detected. On the other hand, the difficulties of partially-sighted students are pointed by interviewing with students. The fixation of the attitudes and behaviours of educators and also students about this situation, determination of a deficiency in the education process and providing a solution towards those deficiencies are among the aims of this study. In the scope of the study, all the conservatories in Turkey in which partially-sighted students are given education are reached, prepared structured interview forms are sent to Conservatory educators and partially-sighted students. 28 educators, 14 partially-sighted graduate students and undergraduate students from 10 University attended willingly. This descriptive study in which scanning method is centered, the data is analyzed and interpreted according to the qualitative analysis. It is tried to offer solution recommendations for the problem that have appeared in the study.
