Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the depth of the bedrock and the knowledge of earthquake resistance by using the gravity method of Eskişehir city center and its vicinity. Scintrex CG-5 named gravimeter device was used in the study. In the study area, five profiles in the north-south direction were determined. The distance between the two profiles is approximately 2 km, the distance between the measuring points on the profiles is changing between 100 m. and 200 m. In total 585 measurements, including base measurements were taken. These profiles are long enough to cover the entire graben structure from north to south. The necessary corrections (latitude, altitude, drift-base, topography, tide) were applied to the collected data. After that, gravity data processed by Parker-Oldenburg three dimensional inversion method and 3-D Eskisehir Geological Bedrock basin has been modelled.
