Abstract (EN)
Abstract in this thesis, speed control of permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) that is fed by PV array on the basis of vector control is realized. To operate PMSM, an inverter is required. With appropriate PWM signals applied to the inverter, it is realized to operate the motor with desired speed. Required PWM signals for inverter is obtained by using both SVM and SPWM techniques and their effect on speed is shown. Furthermore, when feeding PMSM with PV array, a MPPT method using P&O algorithm is applied by SEPIC DC-DC converter. Studies are carried out by using MAtlab/Simulink simulations. By means of simulations, PMSMS speed under load and reference changes, PV array current, voltage, power and output of P&O algorithm are measured.
