Abstract (EN)
The theoretical development of astronomy began with Ancient Greece. Ancient Greek scientists dealing with complex problems based astronomy on geometry. They included many important studies on the movements of celestial bodies. The most important of these was provided by Aristotle. However, Aristotle's theory of the universe was mathematically incomplete. Together with Ptolemaios, it was suggested that the Earth was at the center of the universe. This theory, which was valid until the 16th and 17th centuries, made a new system necessary because it did not respond to the fundamental problems. Astronomy has taken on a different dimension with the Copernicus Solar-Centric Universe theory.
