Abstract (EN)
The land study of this thesis was carried out in the Southern Aegean Region of Turkey between September 2013 and August 2014 and 22 localities were selected in the provinces of Afyonkarahisar, Aydin, Denizli, Muğla and Usak and study were performed by using fertilizer dropping traps at different heights with 2 month periods. As a result, It was determined that 566 individuals and 53 species were belonged to 8 genus in the subfamily of Staphylininae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) distributed in these localities. According to the results of research; Ocypus (Pseudocypus) excisus, (Müller G., 1950); Philonthus (Philonthus) splendens splendens, Fabricius, 1793; P. splendens sideropterus, Kolanati, 1846; Quedius (Raphirus) plancus, Erichson, 1840 species and subspecies were reported in these locations in Turkey, where they were not previously specified and the localizations were recorded for the first time by this study. The dominance, frequency percentage, Sorensen and The Jaccard similarity indices of the species determined by this study were performed; Philonthus carbonarius (Gravenhorst, 1802) was the most dominant with 15.24% and Philonthus carbonarius (Gravenhorst, 1802) was the most common species with 8.08%. Station 9 (Muğla) and Station 11 (Aydın) were determined as the closest stations to each other as a result of the similarity indices of Sorensen and Jaccard. The phenology, vertical and locality value records of each species are given in detail and also, Palearctic and Turkey distributions are given. Keywords: Aegean region, phenology, staphylininae, Turkey, vertical distribution.
