The musical development of the student and the accompanying study in the lesson of instrument education (Violin) at fine arts high schools effect on the view of the violin lesson

Instrument education course is a course in the program of fine arts high schools, where each student continues with an instrument that they want to play with this instrument throughout their high school education. This research; this study was carried out in order to learn the effect of piano accompaniment on the musical development of the students who take the Instrument Training (Violin) Lesson and their perspectives on the violin lesson. The study group of the research; 8 students were selected for the experimental and control groups (experimental group [n=4] - control group [n=4]) among 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade violin students studying at Afyonkarahisar Fine Arts High School in the 2021-2022 academic year. In the research, the "post-test model with control group" was used. There are two groups formed by unbiased assignment. All the students in the groups started their violin education at Afyonkarahisar Fine Arts High School. In the research, a literature review was made, various evaluation criteria were examined and the experimental part was "Intermediate Observation Form" and "For the post-test". Experimental/Control Groups Scoring Chart" and "After-Study Questionnaire for Violin Lesson Perspectives" were created for the students who participated in the study. Expert opinion was sought while creating the forms and it was determined that the reliability levels of the measurement tools were quite high (Cronbach's Alpha>0.70). The experimental group students worked with the recorded accompaniments of the works during the experiment, which was determined as 8 weeks, and the control group students performed their 8-week studies with the determined metronome speeds. In the 4th week of the study, intermediate observation records were taken, and after the 8 weeks were completed, both groups played together with the accompaniment. Performance and posttest records were taken. Performances recorded by the researcher; "Intermediate Observation Form" and "Post-test Scoring Chart" were evaluated by 5 experts. In line with the statistical analyzes and the answers given by the students in the question form; It has been concluded that violin education with piano accompaniment has a positive effect on the musical development of students and their perspective on violin lessons.
