Abstract (EN)
In this project, a new design has been tested to charge the batteries of Electric Vehicles. This design is a system that can charge the batteries of moving Electric Vehicles using renewable energy sources. The system is designed based on the features of Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle. For this purpose, flow simulation of the Electric Vehicle was performed using ANSYS/Fluent software and it was determined that the most suitable place for the turbine was the front of the vehicle and after the hollow structure was created for the turbine at the front, flow simulation was performed again and the suitability of the design was determined. In the system, 2 wind turbines and 6 solar panels are used. The design of the turbine to be used was made using ANSYS/Fluent software. As a result, it is assumed that the vehicle is traveling at a constant speed of 100 km/h and the amount of power used from the vehicle battery according to time and the power generated by the solar panel-wind turbine hybrid system is compared and found to contribute to the vehicle battery.
