Abstract (EN)

In terms of reserves in Turkey, lignite coal is at the head of underground energy resources. The quality parameters of lignite coal are determined in coal analysis laboratories. This increases the time and cost loss. One of the most important factors in determining coal quality is ash content. An inversely proportional relationship between the ash ratio of the other quality parameters and the lower temperature value of the car can be established easily. In recent years, new technologies have been developed to detect ash content in coal. One of them is natural gamma technology. Natural gamma technology, which has been successfully used in many coal plants in the world, is very advantageous in terms of cost, time and work power. In this study, the ash content of the lignite carp from the underground area of Kütahya Tunçbilek, region İğdekuzu was measured by natural gamma technology which is adapted to the system. The measurement results are compared with the results of the Garp Lignite Operator's Accredited Laboratories, and the use of the device operating with the principles of Natural Gamma Technology has been discussed.
