Abstract (EN)

The ancient Turkish Islamic homeland, East Turkestan has been invaded by the Communist China in 1949, and following a new reorganization from this date, it has been declared as the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region in 1955. From 1955 to 1989 Tiananmen events, it has been ruled in isolation from the world by the Communist Chinese governments. During the Cultural Revolution/The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), the Communist Party of China isolated itself from outside, and East Turkestan has been completely isolated from the world. With the period of softening following this period, China worked to improve its public image against the public opinion of the world. For East Turkestan, several international activities have been carried out in order to raise public awareness in the world. Non-governmental organizations have been established in order to release negativities in East Turkestan to the public and to create a public opinion in the world, national and international meetings have been organized, and press-broadcasting activities have been carried out. In this study, subjects of activities made in and outside East Turkestan after 1949 were evaluated chronologically. East Turkestan between the years 1955 and 1990 was presented as a study organized under two headings, from a domestic and international perspective, a field study was carried out, and collected information and documents were evaluated in the first stage of the study.
