Hatay region yörük anecdotes

Anecdotes, which we encounter in the oral and electronic cultural environment, are a type of narrative in the form of prose that has deals with daily life and serves different functions.In addition to making people laugh, jokes that include social rules and realize this in a critical way are also a communication tool. In this context, anecdotes offer people the opportunity to convey their thoughts and lifestyles. This study, called Hatay Region Nomad Anecdotes, consists of four main parts. The first part of the study is "Introduction". In this section, information is given about the subject, problem, purpose, importance, method and scope of the research. In the second part of our research, information is given about "Methods", "theories of humor" and "functional folklore theory" used to analyze the data obtained in the field. In the third chapter, "Results", information is given under the headings of "Information about the Research Area, General Information about the Yoruks, Studies on the Research Subject, Conceptual Framework and An Overview of the Tradition of Telling anecdotes". better analyze jokes about the region. Hatay region Yörük anecdotes were evaluated in terms of form, content, language and style; in the context of theories of humor; In the context of functional folklore theory, an analysis of the Yörük anecdotes belonging to the Hatay region has been made. The people in the nomadic anecdotes belonging to the Hatay region have been identified. In the "Discussion and Conclusion" section of the research, an evaluation was made about the collected jokes. A result was obtained in line with the determinations given in the findings section of the research.
