Abstract (EN)
Burnout; It is a syndrome as a result of the depletion of the internal resources of the individual that causes an increase in the exhaustion and depersonalization and decrease in the personal accomplishment. When we consider flight safety as a chain in aviation, the most important component of the chain is the human factor. This chain can be as strong as its weakest link. When we think of universities as chimney-free factories that produce the chain, this situation may occur in the input and output processes of the chain production, and our study will provide light to students and educators to increase awareness about burnout syndrome. In our study, it was aimed to determine whether burnout levels of undergraduate aviation students vary according to sociodemographic factors. In this context, Maslach Burnout Inventory Student Form and sociodemographic data form were applied. Studying in Turkey at the undergraduate level across the aviation department has obtained data from 571 students. In the statistical analysis of these data; factor analysis, frequency, reliability test, t-test and One-way ANOVA were used. In our study, there was a significant relationship between gender, age, birth place, parent status, education department, grade point average, total credit, taking additional courses from the top and bottom class, class level, money obtained monthly, additional job status, knowledge of the department of work and education, the idea of frequent change of departments / termination of university education, hope of finding a job, daily sleep, internship, hobby, alcohol uses and moral support. There was no relationship between place of residence, order of choosing for the department, smoking, status of reading second university and hobby types.
