In today's competitive business environment, the aviation industry is turning to outsourcing to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency, and specialize in their areas of focus. In other words, aviation industry companies are seeking answers to the question of which source to procure a product or service from. In this context, it is of great importance to calculate the criteria that affect supplier selection in the industry and the weight of these effects. Additionally, companies operating in the aviation industry prioritize these criteria in supplier selection based on their relative importance. As a result, the aim is to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage and strengthen competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to identify the criteria that affect supplier selection in the aviation industry, to weigh the importance levels of these criteria and their sub-criteria using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, and to reveal their rankings in terms of importance. The findings obtained through the application of this method demonstrate which criteria are prioritized in the selection of outsourcing strategies and how much these criteria will influence the decision-making process. As a result, this thesis emphasizes the importance of strategic outsourcing and contributes to effective decision-making processes in the aviation sector.
