Abstract (EN)

The excessive and careless use of natural resources causes pollution and being a threat to both current and future generations. Therefore, firms should include environmental goals in corporate objectives. Employees' awareness of environmental problems will help firms reduce environmental problems. Today, Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) has become an important issue that has started to be on the agenda more and more firms. One of the strategies to be implemented in an increasingly competitive environment in the business world, GHRM is a management style that can help integrating the environmentally friendly understanding with the operation. Firms can achieve success such as innovation, creativity, and competitive advantage by making strategic and organizational changes. The aim is to investigate the GHRM implementation process in airline companies in Turkey and to evaluate the GHRM implementation performances of airlines. In the study, a comprehensive literature review was conducted, the questionnaire created based on this was applied online, and the collected data were analyzed using MCDM. The findings of this study provide a framework for measuring the GHRM implementation performance of airlines in Turkey. Airlines will be able to see how they can improve their performance by considering the evaluation criteria. The study will be able to raise awareness among practitioners in terms of showing a way of providing cost advantage as well as influencing the human resources unit (indirectly the entire business) and organizational change of airlines. Thus, both theoretical and practical contributions have been made regarding an important pillar of being a greener business.
