Abstract (EN)

Hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) production is carried out by various methods, but most of the production methods of obtaining a fine powder size and powder with high crystallinity are not possible. Distribution of agglomeration is performed by various milling operation. In this thesis, the agglomerated form of raw BN were milling with ball mill, attritor mill and planetary mill in different conditions to examine how the particle size of raw BN was influenced by the variation of process parameters. Full Factorial Design method was used for determining the factors and interactions of raw BN milling process and derives some mathematical expressions. Particle size, SEM and XRD analysis were to evaluate the impact grinding powders of hBN. Powder production that have different size and aspect ratio expected in hBN applications depends on the initial milling conditions and it is found that possible to produce hBN powder without any deterioration.
