Abstract (EN)

Despite technological developments and administrative regulations continuing at a high pace, accidents in which the human factor plays a role continue to occur in the aviation industry. Research has shown that the pilotage is much more important than other elements in aircraft accidents, regardless of whether they are military or civilian. In this study, it was tried to determine the probability of the test pilot making a mistake in each step of the maintenance test flight procedures of the UH-60 helicopter, a medium-lift utility helicopter. Human error assessment and reduction technique (HEART) was used when determining the probability of error. As a result, flight safety-improving training arrangements and ergonomic improvements have been suggested for maintenance test flight procedure steps that have a high probability of pilot error. An investigation was carried out and an original study was produced in order to detect the possibility of pilot error and present solution suggestions for the relatively more critical maintenance test flights of rotary wing aircraft.
